modern, state-of-the art medical and surgical facilities. SWHG’s management
team has both depth and diversity in the healthcare industry. Our medical
industry experience dates back more than three decades in which time we have
developed or acquired more than 130 hospitals and surgical centers, working
for privately held and publicly traded corporations.
As an
example, Southwest Health Group’s management team, in conjunction with its
physician partners, opened Southern Surgical Hospital in Slidell, Louisiana in
2005. Due to the development and organizational planning prior to opening,
from the first month of operation the surgical specialty facility was
profitable and delivered superior healthcare to the Northshore of Lake
Ponchartrain. Southern Surgical continues in a growth mode.
Due to
